Graphics implies to an image or pictorial depiction of a thing or body. Graphics to computer are just pictures showed onto a computer screen. Graphics are mostly compared with text, which involved typescripts, such as numbers and letters, rather than only images.

Computer Graphics can mainly be two or three dimensional. Computers previously only sustained 2d monochrome graphics (black or green on the basis of the monitors). Gradually computers started supporting colour images. The first machines supported only 16 or 256 colours while most of the computers today can show graphics in millions of colours.

2D graphics are available in two tastes- ‘raster and vector’. Raster graphics are mostly common and are used for digital photos, web graphics, icons, and other different types of images. They comprises of a simple network of pixels, which can be of different colours. And vector graphics are building up of paths that may be lines, shapes, letters, or other accessible objects. They are mainly used for creating logos, signs, and other kinds of portrayals. Apart from raster graphics, vector graphics can be measured to a greater extent without losing its value.

3D graphics happened to become prevalent in the 1990s, along with 3D version software such as CAD and 3D animation series. In the year 2000, there were many video games integrating 3D graphics, as computers had adequate processing command to support them. Now-a-days most of the computers are available with a 3D video card that holds all 3D processing which permits even simple home based systems to carry advanced 3D games and applications.

Infographics

Infographics of information graphics is a demonstration of data in a graphical setup planned to make the data simply clear at a glimpse.
